What Does It Cost

Our Record Suspension Fees are simple and affordable.

Pardons Canada will undertake all necessary steps and procedures for removing your criminal record. These include: Record Suspensions (previously known as pardons), Purges, and File Destructions. You will be responsible to pay the cost of your file.

It is easy for us to help you. We will get your fingerprints and photos certified, and collect police and court records. The end result is that your criminal record will be cleared and you will receive proof in writing.

Record Suspension and Purge/File Destruction Fees:

  • Standard = $549

  • Premium = $669

Premium Files

These files receive a higher level of service and include:


  • Support Letter: This is a legally binding document stating your application will be completed successfully .

  • All Courts Fees: Courts fees can run up to $250 or more.

  • Personalized Level of Support: If issues arise, phone support and/or contact with department specialist; assistance with documentation; contact with the Parole Board of Canada (PBC) and/or contributing agencies if necessary such as courts and police agencies.

  • Future Eligibility: your file will have precedence during the review process.

Please note that Pardons Canada has no control over the Parole Board of Canada (PBC), statutory eligibility dates, or Canadian and American Governments

What The Fee Includes

All disbursements (except HST, print certification, local police check and federal government fees).

Disbursements include: photocopies, postage, courier charges, faxes, court charges, police fees, etc. , assistance with personal letters, correspondence with all government bodies, file status maintenance, file maintenance if early and meetings with counselors.

A minimum of $250 is needed to start your file. If you can comfortably afford the whole amount, it is best if you can pay it all at once, and prevent delays in processing your file.

Payment may be made by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Debit, Cheque, Email Transfer or Money Order (payable to Pardons Canada).
