Each day we receive hundreds of thank you letters from people across Canada whom we have helped to obtain a Canada Record Suspension (formerly known as Canada Pardon).
The Canadian government changed the rules about Pardons in March 2012 and one of the changes was the name from Pardons to Record Suspension but the affect is the same. Once the record suspension is granted the criminal record will be sealed an not available for public record.
Many people are concerned that they cannot travel if they have a Canadian criminal record. This is certainly a concern and should not be taken lightly. The Americans can turn you away at the US border if you have a criminal record in Canada. However, as long as they have never stopped you in the past, once the Record Suspension is granted you are safe to travel without worry of being denied.
