Who We Are

Canada Record Suspensions was created by Pardons Canada. We are a Federal non-profit organization that helps Canadians with removing past criminal offenses from public record by obtaining a record suspension (previously known as pardon). Pardons Canada is a resource for over 5,400 government and community agencies and provides support and information by telephone, on our websites and in-person at our conveniently located walk-in centre.

Many Canadians have made some regrettable mistakes in the past. Those who are no longer involved in criminal activity have a real opportunity to get a fresh start and make a positive change in their lives. By helping you obtain a record suspension, we hope to lift the stigma and shame associated with a criminal past, allowing you to feel that you belong in our society again.

People who feel part of a community make better parents, citizens, and neighbors.
